Belfast and Giant's Causeway

Belfast and Giant’s Causeway

Our tour guide Philip was great! He was funny and very informative. I learned so much about the history of Northern Ireland. We had a very adventurous day full of walking! I loved every stop we made (Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, Giant’s Causeway, Belfast, The Dark Hedges, and the Castle). I would highly recommend using this company for your day tours! We had vouchers through our travel company and missed our scheduled tour due to delayed flights. We were able to transfer our to tour to the following day without any fuss! This is a must do trip if you are in Ireland. The views are breathtaking!

Cliffs of Moher and Belfast Day Tours

We were lucky enough to get Mac for the Cliffs tour and for the Belfasttour this week. He’s not only hilarious, but he knows what he needs to know for the tour, and then some. You will get a wonderful history lesson told in a colorful and interesting way.

As far as the tours themselves, we didn’t feel like there were any “fillers” simply to waste time getting back. We loved every stop and photo op.

If you do go on the Cliffs tour, check the weather the day before to make sure you are not going on a rainy and foggy day. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, however, you will still enjoy the tour with Mac. He seems to really enjoy passing along his knowledge of this beautiful country. I highly recommend both tours.

My favourite tour in Ireland - and I've done plenty

My favourite tour in Ireland – and I’ve done plenty

This is my second time in Ireland, I first came here for a short holiday that mainly focused on doing and seeing as many things as possible. The second time around was work related, and I’ve been living here for the past 6 months. During my stay here I’ve done quite a lot of different tours, both day tours and multi day tours, walking tours, bus tours, you name it, I’ve done it. So far, I’ve enjoyed them all and I always found something good about every tour, This past Saturday was the first time I tried a tour with the Extreme Ireland company and I must say I was very impressed. I booked the one day Belfast, Downpatrick and Mourne mountains tour, which by itself was very enjoyable and informative. Still, I don’t think Belfast and the places I visited were my favorite places in Ireland I’ve seen so far. But the reason this tour became my favourite, was because of our tourguide Bud. He was, simply put, amazing. You could see he enjoyed doing his job and always went out of his way to make this tour special for each and every one of us. He was full of knowledge and fun little stories, like most guides I’ve encountered here so far. I can not really describe what it was that made Bud so special, he just had that certain je ne sais quoi…Anyway, this little impromtu trip turned out to be one of my favourite days in Ireland and one I will fondly remember :).

Belfast Day Tour

One of the best tours I’ve done!

I would have to say the tour to Belfast from Dublin would be one of the best tours i have done, also a big thanks to Caroline, who was our tour guide and made the trip extra special. She was very funny and made sure everyone was happy the whole day. The Christmas markets in Belfast were the best I’ve ever been to!

Belfast Day Trip”

Belfast Day Trip

Originally booked for Giants Causeway tour. Somehow or another we missed the missed the bus. Initially, I was disappointed as there was no other trip to Giants Causeway and it was our last day in Dublin. We were told to try and get a refund or transfer to another tour we transferred to the Belfast tour and enjoyed every minute of it. Great city with a turbulent history. Our driver/guide was fantastic. His name escapes me though! I think it was Darren?
